... likes the idea of waiting for Stanley every night, where he makes her feel special and she has no reminder of the price she is paying. Reason for her action is not proven in the play, but it is definite that Stella was in similar position as Blanche was in when she ran away from her tradition, and searched for her desire. "She tries to conceal from herself her true needs through hiding and drugging herself in a sex relationship." (Pg. 305 Kazan) No matter how Stanley treats her, Stella is so dependent on him that she gives up so much of herself. Stella is relatively very slow on reading people's mind and she gives in, accepts, let things slide. Nevertheless ...
... Great Britain, Orlando of Italy, and Wilson of the United States, were supposed to draw up a document for long lasting peace based on Wilson's Fourteen Points, but the other leaders were vengeful. They wanted Germany to pay in a big way for their losses and costs incurred. Instead of choosing to aim for long lasting peace by basing their treaty on the Fourteen Points, Clemenceau, George, and Orlando drew up a treaty that would cause Germany to go into a nation-wide depression and suffer for a whole generation. This treaty became known as the Treaty of Versailles. In looking at the treaty, one would think that the writers were completely biased against Germany... ...
... short breaks, physical stress from standing for long periods and abnormally high temperatures in the work areas. Added to all this is management¡¦s apathy for the working conditions, as seen when her mother looses her hearing temporarily with little or no sentiment from the company doctor, who knows this is a common problem for the workers. With this setting, the film progresses through most of the stages for employee organization. While management tries to get the workers support to keep the union out, and labor struggles to get a foothold to develop worker unity and get the union elected as the official bargaining agent both sides violate federal laws or come ...
... it as far as the , which is the beginning of Texas. During the night Dunson and Rupp are attacked by Indians. As it turned out these were the same Indians, who ambushed the wagon train, they had left earlier in the day. Dunson and Rupp had seen the smoke from the attack that killed the girl as they were riding away. It seems to me that Indians in this film are portrayed as dangerous enemies who are very sneaky. Also in this part of the movie Dunson and Rupp somehow knew how to answer Indian calls, even though they were two white guys from Missouri. It also intrigued me that the two of them shot every Indian that came out of the bushes the very first time. ...
... by the Cajuns for the local “cemetery, yard, and garden.” When Commandment Nicolas Verret tried to force the Cajuns to pay more than the previously established amount, they objected profusely. The Cajuns gave in only when given an ultimatum by the chief executive. This confrontation was followed by two major disputes: the Bellevue and Valentin affairs. The Bellevue incident took place in September, 1770 when Governor Luis de Unzaga directed chevalier Le Grand de Bellevue to survey property holdings along the Mississippi River. The Cajuns did not like the way the survey was conducted by Bellevue, and were very angry. The Valentin incident created ...
... of the new innovation; television sets were being found in more homes throughout America. This is when television began to take the nation by storm. Television slowly started to take over the lives of many. Families became less “family oriented”; family time, for the most part, was now spent in front of the TV. Dinner time, which used to be an important part of the day when many families came together, was now being spent apart, in front of the television. I suppose it could be concluded that from this, TV dinners came about; a quick and easy way to make a half way decent meal so that special program wouldn’t have to be missed. Today, television has cre ...

Wallace became known throughout Scotland as a patriot, fighting for his lost love and the freedom he never had. After many long and brutal battles William was captured, tortured, and killed. The cry of his death echoed around the world, and certainly on the battlefield. Soon after, his followers defeated Longshank's army and won there freedom. Based on the movie and summary above, I have c ...
... Drugs were a major part of the bands early years and so was hard, ear blasting rock and roll. Matthews once criticized this behavior by Oasis as he proclaimed his own virginity in the drug world. In typical Oasis fashion, Matthews was dismissed with swear words and the raising of a certain finger. Perhaps the biggest difference between the two bands is their music and fan base. Oasis is known for literally playing at maximum level, while Matthews has a mellower and almost soothing concert sound level. He also has a very limited stage with little lighting as compared to Oasis’ dazzling effects that seem to pulse with the music. These flashing lights seem to ...

... 1960s were the main ones in the USSR until the computers of the third generation were put into the serial production, that is until the early 1970s. In the 1960s the science-research and assembling base was enlarged.
