... and surrendered to the new power: Kaid. Imperial Kaid, at that time, was an emerging culture from the sandy banks of the River Namm. Because Kaid lies in a veritable desert wasteland, the Kaidites were protected from enemy attack, until one day they burst forth in a conquering fury, and none in their path could withstand them. The Kaidites brought with them their strange customs and gods. The supreme Tamian god, Niord, god of light and fury, was replaced with the warlike Helk. Ahrimal the forked-tongue had a temple right against the wall of the Palace itself. Tamian gods, save for Niord, were tolerated, so long as their worshippers did not cause any trouble. ...
... ongoing story can be like a soap opera. My favorite example of this is "The Summers Family," Which goes a little something like this: There are two brothers, Scott and Alex Summers, who were orphaned as children when they were pushed from a plane being attacked by an advanced alien race. Their mother died but their father went on to become a space pirate. Later, Scott falls in love with Jean Grey, who becomes an omnipotent primal force, the Phoenix, who commits suicide to save the universe from herself. Meanwhile, a bad guy has made a clone of Jean named Maddie, who marries Scott. They have a baby, Nathan. Jean returns from the dead, not actually having been ...
... he did know much about architecture. 4. The wolf did look upon these happenings with slavering jowls, and dripping snout. How did resolve to blow down these lodgings and gobble the inhabitants on the morrow. And on that morn, he blew upon the hut of straw, and he did gobble the pig into quivering chunks. Then he went to the house that beheld the second pig, And he did blow it down, and he did devour the pigeon inside. When he got to the third house, the Great Pig Snortimer was awaiting him. This was the last and oldest pig, and he did wield a great Claymore sword. With one chop the pig did lop off the head of the evil wolf, and blood did steam and there was much ...
... of smoke blinded us. Right away, we noticed that everybody knew each other. It was like a small family. What was more amazing is how everybody blended in so perfectly and how they matched the place like a puzzle. As we were wandering around, the owner came up to us and welcomed us to his club, noticing that it was our first time there. Now that I have known him for over a year and a half, I can say that he is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Speaking with an Italian accent, always gesturing, dressed very elegantly and always wearing nice suits, expensive shoes and a golden necklace and ring, he looks like he was taken out of a Mafia movie ...
... An old, befuddled man could hardly attract the attention of such a powerful warrior. But to the spawns eyes, he only saw the truth. He didn't see the lines of age which covered the man's face. Nor did he see the disfigured spine which pushed the man's back into a painful composure. But he did see the beast within. To the spawn, what stood in the other room had no dimensions, it glittered with a warrior's sweat and had an evil which protruded off its hide like poisonous spines. This creature had roamed the aeons sending multitudes of innocent 'children' to nothingness before their time. In ages past it was known as Ra, god of the sun, then it was known as ...
... he died was a day in which he would of usually spent relaxing, fishing, and drifting of in to his own world, but on this day he drifted away into a new place which he had never been. My uncle's time had come and gone and he was now adventuring into new places that hopefully would be as good to him as life was. I felt deeply sorried for everyone who had none him and his life. He was always a person who was willing to help someone in a time of need, and someone who would always be there if needed. He would also be deeply missed by his wife which souly depended on him for income and plainly comforting. My uncle was not a weak man but a very strong man ,w ...

... feel safe. To enter the vehicle you can use the keyless entry system. The system is devised to protect against Car Jackers. In case of a jacking I can alert others by pressing the alert button and my car will then beep repeatedly and the lights will rapidly flash. The car does so until I repress the alert button. I can also lock and unlock my vehicle plus open the trunk. My car has seatbelts to fit each passenger and for added safety, dual airbags. When I put my car in gear it automatically locks all the doors. This feature is to protect children form opening the doors while the car is in motion. With all these safety features, I never feel discomfort ...
... What was I going to tell them? Sorry mom and dad but I wasted your money; I had no excuses so I told them the truth. What happened after that changed my life forever. It was either the military or go to a community college and try to redeem myself. I wanted to do neither, but I had to choose. The military was off my list and going to a community college sounded o.k. So I registered and the rest of that summer I had to deal with the fact that I had not accomplished anything in the past year and this was wake up call and the only chance I had left to prove to myself that I could do something. The fall semester rolled around and I realized that I wanted to do the w ...
... I tried to play some videos games. I grew tried of that rather quickly. So, I deiced to get some much needed rest. The next morning I got up at eight o'clock because my dog Barney had to go outside. I knew he had to go outside because he started to cry. So, I let him out. Then I went to see if my mom or dad had made me breakfast. I looked and found nothing had been cooked for me. Which was really odd because every Saturday and Sunday morning they had made me breakfast since I could remember. My sister Amy was watching television. So, I asked her where mom and dad were. She said, "Dad had hurt his back and had to go to the hospital." I was very wor ...
