.... up to King Oedipus, everyone wanted to be like him. As the play moves into scene one, already you can see Oedipus changing. We have to remember though that this play was only a day long so he faces all of these challenges in just one day. It seems like every time King Liaos death is brought up, Oedipus always blames it on someone. Oedipus then tells everyone that the person who killed King Liaos will be put to death when found. When he says this, it tells the people that he didn’t kill him. As the play goes on he blames the death on Kreon. After that he blames Teiresias for the death.
