.... rich came over to canada in first class quarters with fancy furnishings and gourmet meals. The poor came to Canada in third class quarters with almost no water or food and what food they did get was scrapes from the first class passengers. The third class quarters were cramped and unsanitary. So if you were rich you had every thing and if you weren't you had nothing. Finally when people arrived in Canada they still had a few obsticals to over come. This means they had to establish a home, a career and learn how to deal with the harsh weather of Canada.
