.... any other "news organization". The basic purpose of the establishment of news organizations is to report to the public what is occurring. Instead, the evolution of "Active Journalism", digging up a story, instead of waiting for it to "land in your lap" is the most detrimental effect to the bloated media. The problem with "Active Journalism" is that it will reveal stories that perhaps should have stayed private. The need for the public to know these stories, is really a matter of opinion, of which mine is obviously against the large "news organizations" Therefore, do we just flat out kill our television, or perhaps, not so much our end, but perh ....
