.... hard work and playing with heart. I stand by the saying "It is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog." How we practice during the week is how we'll play in the game; therefore, I will not accept sloppy practice sessions. My philosophy as a teacher/coach and in life begins and ends with respect. If I cannot respect myself then it is impossible to have true respect for anyone else, and if I cannot respect others, how can I expect my students to respect each other. Respect starts with self-esteem and coaches teach self-esteem. If I am not careful I could just as easily tear down one's self-esteem. It is easie ....
