Also because wine is curious, in flavor as well as in its bubbly ways, as money is to those that do not have it. In the second stanza it seems she speaks of what she was thinking as she touched the “Curious Wine” “’Twas this on Tables I had seen” tells of how she had seen wealth often, so her hunger was not for the unknown but the inexperienced. “Windows” tells of how she knew the wealth.
