He wants to continue reading and finding more about those strange and different people introduced in the book. In “K is for Killer” the victim is Lorna Kepler. She was a beautiful young lady who was really strange and mysterious. Grafton introduces weirdness as one of Lorna's characteristics to create suspense. Lorna was a loner and did not have a lot of friends, and she rarely talked to people. No one really knew her and a lot of people were jealous of her.
